The City of Solon announced on April 16 that the indoor pool will be closed for the day following a power outage caused by a severe weather storm the previous evening.

The closure affects all open swim, lap swim, and water exercise programming scheduled for Thursday. The city said it will provide updates as soon as power is restored and normal operations can resume.

Officials explained that the decision was made in response to safety concerns and operational challenges resulting from the storm-related outage. Residents who use the facility are encouraged to check for further announcements regarding reopening times.

The city did not specify when repairs would be completed but emphasized its commitment to restoring services quickly. Updates will be communicated as soon as more information becomes available.
