She stated, “Today my office learned that the Trump Administration is terminating a federal grant for @forclevepeace which had supported services for gun violence survivors. This is a disgraceful betrayal – of the law, of decency, and of the people of Cleveland.”

She reminded the public of the tragedy suffered by the Jewish community, stating, “As Yom HaShoah comes to a close, we remember the six million Jews who were murdered during the Holocaust—lives stolen by hatred, antisemitism, and silence. Never forget. Never again.”
