Rep. Shontel Brown, currently serving in the U.S. Congress for Ohio’s 11th District, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting her activities and opinions. Brown took office in 2021, succeeding Marcia Fudge, and has been an active voice in public policy, having transitioned from her past role in the Cuyahoga County Council.

On May 3, 2025, Rep. Shontel Brown shared her enthusiasm about the gathering at the 3rd Annual Small Business Expo. She tweeted, “Look at this amazing crowd at our 3rd Annual Small Business Expo! #SBE25”.

Continuing her commentary on the Small Business Expo, Brown expressed gratitude towards attendees and extended an invitation for future participation. On May 4, 2025, she tweeted, “Supporting small business growth is about expanding opportunity. Thank you to everyone who attended our Small Business Expo – and if you weren’t here this year we want to see you next year. #SBE25”.

Later that day, Rep. Brown voiced her critical perspective on economic policy, particularly under the Trump administration. She tweeted, “Trump shrank the economy – so now he’s got to use AI to try to look big. Nonstop nonsense, and nothing to lower prices.”
