On April 1, 2025, Brown expressed her commitment to this cause by sharing, “Proud to introduce the Hunger Free Future Act to protect SNAP from Republican plans to cut vital food assistance to give tax breaks to billionaires. My bill is simple: any changes to SNAP must not increase hunger. Everyone deserves access to food. #HungerFreeFuture“.
Later the same day, Brown extended her support to Senator Cory Booker, acknowledging his efforts on similar fronts. She affirmed, “Thank you @SenBooker for fighting for the American people. I stand with you!“.
Building upon her commitment, on April 2, 2025, Brown joined forces with fellow representatives and organizations to bolster her advocacy for the Hunger Free Future Act.
