Shontel Brown, the congressional representative for Ohio’s 11th District, has taken to Twitter to address several pressing issues. Brown, who has been serving in the United States Congress since 2021, replaced Marcia Fudge. She previously served on the Cuyahoga County Council. With her background and commitment to public service, Brown has been vocal about various political and social matters.

In a post on April 4, 2025, Brown announced her call for an investigation into an issue she termed a major cybersecurity risk. “I’ve called for an investigation into the DOGE bros improperly sharing personal data. It’s one of the biggest cybersecurity risks in US history and the threat is ongoing,” she stated.

The next day, April 5, 2025, Brown’s attention shifted to economic concerns, with criticism aimed at former President Donald Trump. “Instead of focusing on lowering prices for working people, he’s focused on lowering his golf score. Trump is out of touch and doesn’t care,” Brown tweeted.

On the same day, Brown also expressed her opposition to cuts in social aid programs. “Republicans want to cut SNAP benefits – I’ve filed a bill to block their cuts,” she announced, underscoring her commitment to protect social welfare programs.
