On October 17, 2025, Brown wrote, “Trump’s reckless tariff war is crushing America’s farmers, all while he’s increased health care costs in rural America, and shut down the USDA. Farmageddon. Read my @FoxNews op-ed https://t.co/d5Ksu3ZU7f”.
Later that day, Brown posted another message about health care legislation: “Trump’s Big Ugly Law cuts Medicaid, closes rural hospitals, and lets critical ACA health care tax credits expire. Reckless Republican policies are raising costs and making us sick. https://t.co/i99jXCCziB”.

Brown has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Marcia Fudge and previously held a seat on the Cuyahoga County Council from 2015 to 2021.
