Rep. Shontel Brown, who represents Ohio’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, has been vocal on social media regarding her concerns about the actions of former President Donald Trump and his administration. Brown, a Wilberforce University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree, has served in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Marcia Fudge.

On March 23, 2025, Rep. Brown expressed her criticism towards the current administration by stating “This White House is for sale.”

The following day, March 24, she addressed another issue involving Trump and the Postal Service. She stated that “Trump wants to grab control of the Postal Service and sell it off for parts, disrupting vital mail service.” Brown also mentioned her support for local Letter Carriers and North Shore AFL-CIO against Trump’s proposed changes.

Later that same day, Rep. Brown criticized Trump’s cabinet for compromising national security by discussing sensitive information improperly. She tweeted that “Trump’s careless cabinet once again putting our national security at risk, this time by discussing classified military strikes in a group chat.”
