Representative Shontel Brown, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 11th district since 2021, posted a series of tweets on various subjects in recent days. Shontel Brown, born in Cleveland, Ohio, and currently residing in Warrensville Heights, has been active on social media with her latest insights and greetings.

On April 12, 2025, Rep. Brown expressed her well wishes for those observing the Jewish holiday Passover in Northeast Ohio. She tweeted: “Wishing everyone celebrating tonight in Northeast Ohio a Happy Passover. Chag Sameach!”.

Two days later, on April 14, 2025, Rep. Brown addressed economic concerns under the administration of former President Donald Trump. Her tweet read succinctly: “Trump is breaking the economy and people are worried.”.

On April 15, 2025, Rep. Brown invited her constituents to stay informed by subscribing to her e-newsletter. She tweeted: “Let’s stay in touch! Click here to subscribe to our e-newsletter for updates on key legislation, town halls and other events in Northeast Ohio, and services we provide.”

Shontel Brown has held her congressional seat since replacing previous U.S. Congress member Marcia Fudge in 2021 and previously served on the Cuyahoga County Council from 2015 to 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilberforce University.
