Brecksville home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Brecksville fell by $25,170 while total sales increased by 28.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 141 homes sold, with a median sale price of $220,000 - a 10.3% decrease over the $245,170 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 110 homes sold in Brecksville in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Brecksville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,647, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
