Oakwood home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Oakwood rose by $4,000 while total sales decreased by 30%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $137,500 - a 3% increase over the $133,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Oakwood in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Oakwood for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,147, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
