Strongsville home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Strongsville rose by $19,750 while total sales increased by 65.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 136 homes sold, with a median sale price of $190,000 - a 11.6% increase over the $170,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 82 homes sold in Strongsville in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Strongsville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,611, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
