Oakwood home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Oakwood fell by $10,500 while total sales decreased by 53.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $132,000 - a 7.4% decrease over the $142,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Oakwood in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Oakwood for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,147, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
