Brooklyn home prices rise in August 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Brooklyn rose by $10,500 while total sales remained unchanged with 19 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $116,500 - a 9.9% increase over the $106,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 19 homes sold in Brooklyn in August 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,666, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for August 2019.
