Independence home prices fall in November 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2018 in Independence fell by $6,700 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2018, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $146,500 - a 4.4% decrease over the $153,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Independence in November 2017.

The median sales tax in Independence for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,557, approximately 3.1% of the median home sale price for November 2018.
