Home prices decreased in Independence during March 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2021 in Independence fell by $71,000 while total sales remained unchanged with five homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2021, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $280,000 - a 20.2% decrease over the $351,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Independence in March 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Independence for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,487, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for March 2021.
