Rising home prices in Bedford in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Bedford rose by $23,000 while total sales increased by 47.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 56 homes sold, with a median sale price of $104,000 - a 28.4% increase over the $81,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 38 homes sold in Bedford in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Bedford for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,435, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
