Shaker Heights median home prices rose by 11.4% in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Shaker Heights rose by $25,000 while total sales decreased by 1.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 165 homes sold, with a median sale price of $245,000 - a 11.4% increase over the $220,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 167 homes sold in Shaker Heights in the second quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,387, approximately 3.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
