The first half of 2021: Garfield Heights experienced a 37.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Garfield Heights rose by $24,194 while total sales increased by 16.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 300 homes sold, with a median sale price of $88,250 - a 37.8% increase over the $64,056 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 258 homes sold in Garfield Heights in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Garfield Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,769, approximately 3.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
