Rising home prices in Orange in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Orange rose by $134,800 while total sales increased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $440,000 - a 44.2% increase over the $305,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Orange in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Orange for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,330, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
