How did home prices perform in Independence during August 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2021 in Independence rose by $123,500 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2021, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $369,000 - a 50.3% increase over the $245,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Independence in August 2020.

The median sales tax in Independence for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,487, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for August 2021.
