The second half of 2021: Garfield Heights experienced a 23% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Garfield Heights rose by $18,500 while total sales decreased by 4.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 286 homes sold, with a median sale price of $99,000 - a 23% increase over the $80,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 299 homes sold in Garfield Heights in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Garfield Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,769, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
