What happened to the median home price in Brooklyn Heights during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Brooklyn Heights rose by $15,550 while total sales increased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $185,450 - a 9.2% increase over the $169,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Brooklyn Heights in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,902, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
