Cuyahoga County to Host Virtual Hiring Information Session

 

Cuyahoga Job and Family Services looking to fill Employment and Family Service Specialist positions

Cuyahoga Job and Family Services (CJFS) is seeking those who have a passion for helping people grow. Employment and Family Service Specialists, or eligibility specialists, are front-line staff working to provide access to public benefits including Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Child Care Assistance, and Prevention, Retention, and Contingency (PRC) Emergency Assistance.

CJFS is hosting a Virtual Hiring Information Session for Employment and Family Service Specialists. Details are below:

4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Job seekers can:

• Learn about the job and services CJFS provides
• Hear from the CJFS leadership team, direct supervisors, and employment and family service specialists
• Get tips on applying for the position from the Health and Human Services Human Resource team

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements which include, but are not limited to, having an associate degree and at least one (1) year of experience in a public service position or any equivalent combination of education and experience; OR three (3) years relevant direct services experience with Cuyahoga Job and Family Services.
