The Medical Examiner's Office Regional Forensic Science Laboratory will receive a $1m grant through Governor Mike DeWine's Ohio Crime Lab Efficiency Program to eliminate backlogs and decrease testing turnaround time!
This grant will assist with overtime costs, new equipment related to fingerprint, firearm, and trace evidence backlog reduction, and to outsource some firearm evidence examination services.
