Dsas’ Elves For Elders Holiday Giving Program Needs Your Help

Elves for Elders is an easy way to provide support for older adults in your community. Pick a couple of items from the gift registry and the Division of Senior and Adult Services will deliver them to older adults who are feeling lonely and isolated this holiday season. Many of the items are less than $5, yet the recipients are always so appreciative of the generosity of their neighbors. Please consider being a part of a brighter holiday for them.

The holiday season is well underway, and the Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services is seeking support to provide holiday cheer to older adults in the community.

You can help by donating gifts to the Elves for Elders program, our annual holiday initiative. We want to ensure that as many seniors as possible receive gifts and holiday cheer this season. For many, the gifts received through our program are the only gifts that they will receive.

Donors can visit the Elves for Elders gift registry at https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift/2022elvesforelders and order directly from the senior wish list and have items shipped to the DSAS office located at 13815 Kinsman Rd. Cleveland, Ohio 44120.  Donors can also purchase gifts and deliver them to the DSAS office.

We are accepting gifts through December 19th.

Items on the Senior Wish List Include:

• Warm Blankets

• Towel Sets

• Hat, Scarf and Glove Sets

• Socks and Slippers

• Pajamas and Robes

• Soaps and Lotions

• Deodorant and Perfume

• Shampoo and Conditioner

• Hand Sanitizer and Masks

• Puzzles and Games

• Word Search Books and Pencils

• Coloring Books and Crayons

The gifts will be hand-delivered to hundreds of seniors across Cuyahoga County by our staff throughout the holiday season. Our recipients are always so appreciative of the generosity of this community
