Washington, D.C. — Congressman Max Miller (OH-07) today released the following statement after the adjournment of the House of Representatives without passing any additional appropriations bills:
“When I was in Ohio last weekend, I heard a clear message: It’s time to cut back on our out-of-control spending. I agree.
The only way to accomplish that goal is for members of Congress to stay in Washington and work until we pass fiscally responsible appropriations bills. Anything short of that is plainly irresponsible and puts our veterans, seniors, and military at risk.
The American People deserve a government that is responsible and accountable. Let’s do our jobs.”
