Rep. Shontel Brown, a U.S. Congress member representing Ohio’s 11th district, has been active on social media addressing various issues and initiatives. Brown replaced Marcia Fudge in 2021 and has served since then, focusing on community welfare and legislative measures.

On December 11, 2024, Rep. Shontel Brown criticized Republican priorities by stating that they are "fighting for tax cuts for billionaires while making folks on Social Security wait for benefits." Later that day, she announced her efforts to support educational programs with the introduction of new legislation aimed at helping hospitals and schools launch work-based learning programs.
