Rep. Shontel Brown, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 11th district since 2021, recently addressed several issues on social media. Brown's posts covered concerns about drug pricing programs and celebrated Black History Month.

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Shontel Brown questioned the status of programs aimed at lowering costs for Americans. She asked, "The American people deserve answers: Have these programs to lower costs been cancelled? And if so, what is Trump’s plan to lower, not raise drug prices?"

Later that day, she expanded on her previous statement by highlighting a specific action taken by former President Trump. On January 31, 2025, she posted, "On day one, Trump rescinded Biden’s order to lower drug prices—putting three new @CMSgov programs at risk. I, along with 51 colleagues are demanding answers. Has Trump canceled these programs? And what’s his plan to lower—not raise—drug prices?"

On February 1, 2025, Rep. Shontel Brown shifted focus to celebrate Black History Month. She shared her thoughts by stating, "Happy #BlackHistoryMonth! This is a time to celebrate the lives, achievements, and excellence of Black Americans. Let’s honor the victories of the past and the resilience that made them possible - because there is still so much to do."
