On February 6, 2025, Rep. Brown tweeted about her concerns regarding former President Trump's actions: "Trump's actions are a massive risk to federal IT security and data privacy. As the lead Democrat on the @OversightDems Cybersecurity subcommittee, I am working to get answers from OPM. Trump gave Musk the keys to everything."
In another tweet posted on February 6, 2025, she addressed potential threats to healthcare: "As I said in my State of the District address, Trump and Musk are coming for your health care."
Later that day, Rep. Brown reiterated her concerns about cybersecurity risks: "This is a gigantic cybersecurity risk, endangering federal information systems and the personal information of federal employees and taxpayers.
