On February 17, 2025, Rep. Brown raised concerns about Elon Musk seeking financial information from taxpayers and businesses. She questioned the involvement of an "unelected billionaire" in accessing IRS records and urged Republicans to join in opposition to this action. "Elon Musk and his minions are hunting for financial information about every taxpayer, business, and nonprofit."
Later that day, she shared her reflections on Presidents Day by appreciating past leaders' character and leadership qualities. She invited others to share their favorite presidents in honor of the holiday. "Happy Presidents Day! I’m thinking of some of my favorites today and am more appreciative than ever of their character and leadership."
In another post on February 17, Rep. Brown criticized former President Trump's efforts to dismantle anti-discrimination policies. She announced her recent legislative effort aimed at restoring equal employment opportunity policies that were rescinded during Trump's tenure. "Trump wants to roll back the hands of time, removing anti-discrimination policies and move forward with a resegregation agenda."
