Rep. Shontel Brown, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 11th district, has been actively engaging with her constituents and addressing key issues through a series of recent public appearances and statements on social media.

On February 20, 2025, Rep. Brown addressed concerns about federal workers being targeted by prominent figures. She stated, "Trump and Musk are going after federal workers because they serve the public, not billionaires." Brown joined federal workers and union leaders from AFGE and AFL-CIO to express support for civil servants who serve veterans and provide essential services.

Later that day, she announced the commencement of a town hall meeting in Cleveland via Twitter: "Our OH-11 Town Hall in Cleveland has started." The event was made available for live viewing online.

On February 21, 2025, following the town hall meeting, Rep. Brown expressed gratitude to attendees: "Thank you to everyone who attended our OH-11 Town Hall in Cleveland." She criticized Trump's agenda as detrimental to Northeast Ohio and pledged to oppose it through various channels including Congress and the courts.
