According to her tweet, freezing this scholarship program negatively impacts students from rural and underserved communities who wish to study agriculture.

She stated: "Let’s be clear: Musk and Trump want to dismantle the government from within and sell it for parts." Brown asserted that their actions do not represent efficiency but rather incompetence in governance.
In a more positive note shared on February 22, 2025, Rep. Brown participated in a local event celebrating Black heritage. She expressed her honor at being part of the Cleveland Cavaliers' Black Heritage Celebration: "Honored to be a part of the @cavs Black Heritage Celebration tonight..." The event recognized influential Black women making significant contributions in Northeast Ohio.
