Rep. Shontel Brown, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 11th district, has recently shared her views on social media regarding various political issues. Brown succeeded Marcia Fudge in 2021 and has been an active voice in Congress since then.

On March 4, 2025, Rep. Brown tweeted ahead of former President Trump's Joint Address, recalling Congressman John Lewis's words: "Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America."

Later that day, she expressed her support for an investigation into Elon Musk's alleged conflicts of interest and actions against federal workers. She stated: "Proud to join my Democratic colleagues on the Oversight Committee in this latest effort to investigate Musk's obvious conflicts of interest and his illegal attacks on federal workers." She emphasized the importance of accountability.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Brown criticized former President Trump’s tenure with a tweet stating: "President Trump has done nothing worth celebrating. Instead he’s raised costs, fired veterans, and made government worse."
