Congressman Max Miller, who represents Ohio’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative initiatives and criticize opposing party votes on key bills.

On July 15, 2025, Miller posted about a tax relief bill aimed at seniors: "The Big Beautiful Bill brings much needed tax relief for our seniors. Married seniors who both receive the average Social Security income will see deductions that EXCEED their taxable Social Security income. This amounts to the largest tax break in history for America’s seniors!"

A day later, on July 16, 2025, Miller addressed his participation in a House subcommittee hearing focused on tax policy and innovation: "Today, at the @WaysandMeansGOP Oversight Subcommittee hearing, I spoke about the urgent need for a tax code that keeps pace with innovation — not one that drives it overseas. That’s why I’m proud to lead efforts on a comprehensive digital asset tax framework that delivers https://t.co/9MF7YUSpst"

Later that same day, Miller criticized Democratic lawmakers' opposition to the aforementioned bill: "By voting ‘NO’ on the One Big Beautiful Bill, every single Democrat voted for:

-The largest tax hike in American history.

-Open borders.

-Higher gas prices and energy costs for all Americans.

-Continued waste, fraud, and abuse of tax dollars."

Max Miller began serving as representative of Ohio's 7th district in 2023 after succeeding Bob Gibbs. He was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio in 1988 and currently resides in Rocky River. Miller graduated from Cleveland State University with a bachelor's degree in 2013.
