Congressman Max Miller, who represents Ohio’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed legislative priorities and community engagement in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) on August 1 and 2, 2025.
On August 1, Miller sought to clarify misconceptions about recent legislation regarding Medicare. He wrote, "MYTH: The One Big Beautiful Bill 'cuts Medicare.' FACT: Medicare has not been touched in this bill."
Later that day, Miller highlighted his involvement with local housing initiatives. He posted, "I was proud to join U.S. Housing and Urban Development @SecretaryTurner on a visit to Canton for All People, a Community Development Corporation formed by Crossroads United Methodist Church to renovate distressed housing and construct new homes for the community, helping to https://t.co/Qi3O3afQNb".
The following day, Miller summarized legislative actions taken by House Republicans. On August 2 he stated, "House Republicans have passed bills to improve healthcare, strengthen the border, boost military pay, protect children online, combat fentanyl, restore forests, safeguard elections, and unleash American energy. We are delivering real results for the American people."
Max Miller began serving as Ohio’s 7th District representative in Congress in 2023 after succeeding Bob Gibbs. Born in Shaker Heights in 1988 and now residing in Rocky River at age 34, Miller graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013.
