Congressman Max Miller, who represents Ohio’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used his social media platform to address concerns about crime and public safety in Cleveland.

On September 18, 2025, Miller posted: "It has worked in DC. It can work in Cleveland."

The following day, on September 19, he wrote: "Cleveland families deserve to feel safe again."

Later that same day, Miller highlighted local crime statistics: "Cleveland crime snapshot. 100 homicides and over 17,000 assaults in a year??? It doesn't have to be this way."

Miller’s comments come amid ongoing debates about public safety measures and crime rates in major U.S. cities. His reference to Washington D.C. suggests he believes strategies implemented there could be adapted for Cleveland.

Max Miller has served as the congressional representative for Ohio's 7th District since 2023, succeeding Bob Gibbs. Born in Shaker Heights, Ohio in 1988 and currently residing in Rocky River, Miller graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013.
