U.S. Representative Shontel Brown, who represents Ohio’s 11th district in Congress, recently posted a series of tweets addressing national economic policies and local community initiatives.
On September 25, 2025, Brown commented on recent tariff policies and their impact on American farmers and consumers. She wrote, "The headlines are piling up: Trump's Tariffs are a disaster for farmers. It's so bad that now he's talking about bailing them out... from his own policy. Meanwhile, we all pay more for groceries. Make it make sense."
Later the same day, Brown highlighted her office's efforts to assist constituents with healthcare information. She posted, "This week, my office hosted a Medicare Open Enrollment Information Session at the May Dugan Center on the West Side. Shontel Brown has served as U.S. Representative since 2021 after succeeding Marcia Fudge and previously served on the Cuyahoga County Council from 2015 to 2021. Born in Cleveland in 1975 and currently residing in Warrensville Heights, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilberforce University.
