City crews are picking up about 125 cubic yards of leaves every day -- about the amount in this pile. As of Nov. 16, 2,024 cubic yards had been collected, Service Director Joe Walker said.
They're still out there, continuing to pick up in the south end of town this week and next week. After that, they WILL return to the north end and will keep going as long as weather permits.
The leaves in this pile will go to Smith Bros., a Medina landscaping company that recycles them into leaf humus and leaf mulch.
