Congressman Max Miller, representing Ohio's 7th district, has recently shared updates on his activities and legislative achievements through a series of tweets. The posts cover topics ranging from tax relief legislation to international discussions on antisemitism and personal stories of civic engagement.
On December 5, 2024, Congressman Miller announced the passage of significant legislation by the Senate. "Good news for Ohio! Last night, the Senate finally passed The Federal Disaster Tax Relief Act, which passed the House back in May, to provide tax relief for Americans harmed by recent disasters, including the train derailment in East Palestine. This is long overdue."
Later that day, Miller participated in an international forum addressing global antisemitism. He expressed his gratitude for being part of this important dialogue. "I was honored to join a discussion with leaders from across the globe at the #IDUForum2024 to discuss the ongoing problem of international antisemitism. Hate and antisemitism have destructive consequences and must be rooted out. Thank you, @idualliance, for having me."
In another tweet posted on December 5th, Miller shared a personal story about a constituent named Kevin who recently exercised his right to vote for the first time. "I was honored to share Kevin's story as he got to exercise his right to vote for the first time last month! What a story and what a victory!"
