State Representative Tom Patton (R-Strongsville) has revealed that several infrastructure projects in Cuyahoga County will receive a total of $7,793,774.85 in funding. These projects aim to enhance educational and park facilities in the area.
According to Patton, prioritizing top-notch facilities for students and the community is of utmost importance. These investments will not only elevate the quality of spaces across Tri-C campuses but also extend to our local parks, ensuring they remain vital hubs for learning opportunities and community engagement."
The allocated funds will be distributed among multiple projects in Cuyahoga County. The beneficiaries include Cleveland State University, Cuyahoga Community College, the Cuyahoga County ADAMHS Board, and Cahoon Memorial Park. Cleveland State University will receive $157,500, Cuyahoga Community College will be awarded $2,901,658.28, the Cuyahoga County ADAMHS Board will receive $600,000, and Cahoon Memorial Park will be granted $134,545.
All of these projects are expected to be completed by 2024, providing the community with enhanced educational and recreational facilities.
