U.S. Congresswoman Shontel Brown, representing Ohio's 11th district, has been active on social media, sharing updates and insights regarding her local and national activities. Brown, who succeeded Marcia Fudge in 2021, utilizes platforms to communicate directly with her constituents.

On April 22, 2025, Brown shared a post about her ongoing event in Ward 3, stating "Coffee with Your Congresswoman in Ward 3 is now underway. Watch here: https://t.co/85To0KHt2m." This gathering allows community members to engage directly with their representative in a casual setting.

The following day, April 23, 2025, she discussed an upcoming housing event, notifying her audience that their “upcoming OH-11 Housing Expo [was] highlighted in the Plain Dealer," expressing hope for community participation. The expo focuses on housing issues, a critical topic for many residents in the district.

Later, on April 23, 2025, Brown raised concerns over potential threats to Social Security. She expressed her opposition to any changes in a post, stating, "Trump and Elon are trying to break Social Security. We have got to fight back - no cuts, no delays, no 'reforms' that send people to call centers. No games with Social Security." This reflects her commitment to preserving social programs that many of her constituents rely on.

Shontel Brown, born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1975, holds a BS degree from Wilberforce University. She has been serving in Congress since 2021 after a tenure with the Cuyahoga County Council, actively representing the communities within Ohio's 11th district.
