On June 2, 2025, Rep. Shontel Brown addressed a violent incident in Boulder, expressing her distress over the attack. She stated, "I’m horrified and upset by the terrorist attack on people marching for the release of Israeli hostages today in Boulder." She extended her prayers to the victims and their families and emphasized that Jewish people across the United States should be able to express themselves freely without fear.
In another tweet dated June 3, 2025, Brown criticized the Trump Administration for its handling of food safety issues. She claimed that "The Trump Administration failed to notify the public of an E. Coli outbreak and is reportedly attempting to pass off federal food safety inspections to the states." Brown urged that political games should not interfere with food safety.

She tweeted about the OH-11 Housing Expo & Conference scheduled for Saturday, highlighting various breakout sessions available for attendees.
