Housing expo highlights: Shontel Brown's engagement with community housing issues

Rep. Shontel Brown, currently serving as the U.S. Congress representative for Ohio's 11th district, took to social media to share updates about a significant event she hosted. The tweets detail her involvement and gratitude surrounding the Housing Expo and Conference held in Warrensville Heights.

On June 7, 2025, Rep. Brown announced "Our Housing Expo & Conference is TODAY! Get tips, tools & expert advice for homeowners & buyers." She invited attendees to join from 9 AM to 2 PM at Warrensville Heights and provided a link for more information.

Later that day, she posted ": Watch Live at 9:45 AM My remarks at our OH-11 Housing Expo and Conference and our panel discussion on housing advice in uncertain times." This tweet included a link for viewers to watch the live stream of her remarks and the subsequent panel discussion.

In another post on the same day, Rep. Brown expressed appreciation by saying "Thank you to @TriCedu Corporate College for hosting our Housing Expo today! ps - this sign is on point." This message acknowledged the venue that facilitated the event.

Shontel Brown has served in Congress since replacing Marcia Fudge in 2021. Prior to her congressional role, she was a member of the Cuyahoga County Council from 2015 until her congressional election. Born in Cleveland in 1975, Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilberforce University and resides in Warrensville Heights.
