On June 16, 2025, Brown expressed her support for Dreamers and immigrant communities by advocating for legislation aimed at making DACA permanent. She stated: "Proud to stand with Dreamers and our immigrant communities, and to support legislation to make DACA permanent and create a path to citizenship for Dreamers."
Later that day, she highlighted the artistic achievements within her district by meeting Reyna Verma, the winner of the OH-11 Congressional Art Competition. In a tweet posted on June 16, 2025, she wrote: "Enjoyed meeting our OH-11 Congressional Art Competition winner, Reyna Verma a student at Hathaway Brown, in DC. Brown was born in Cleveland in 1975 and resides in Warrensville Heights. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilberforce University.
