Congressman Max Miller, representing Ohio's 7th district, recently shared updates on his activities and legislative initiatives through a series of tweets. These posts highlight both cultural and policy aspects of his work in Congress.
On June 17, 2025, Congressman Miller announced that he had the opportunity to introduce Natasha Rehlender, this year's Congressional Art Competition Winner from Padua Franciscan High School, to the Ways and Means Hearing Room. Her artwork titled “In the Kitchen” will be displayed in the nation's Capitol throughout the year. "Last week, I showed the Ways and Means Hearing Room to this year’s Congressional Art Competition Winner, Natasha Rehlender from Padua Franciscan High School. Her piece, 'In the Kitchen,' will be on display in the nation’s Capitol all year."
The following day, June 18, 2025, Congressman Miller tweeted about the financial benefits brought by a legislative measure known as the Big Beautiful Bill. He stated that over 90% of filers would benefit from its provision to double the standard deduction. According to him, this bill is aimed at supporting working families. "Over 90% of filers will benefit from the doubled standard deduction in the Big Beautiful Bill. The facts speak for themselves – this bill supports working families."
Later on June 18th, Miller discussed his new legislation called the Harvest to Hue Act. This act focuses on reducing reliance on synthetic dyes and ultra-processed ingredients by enabling farmers to produce natural color additives. He emphasized that farmers play a crucial role in achieving this goal through agricultural goods production. "For too long, Americans have relied on synthetic dyes and ultra-processed ingredients in their food. My landmark legislation, the Harvest to Hue Act, enables our famers to grow, produce, and harvest agricultural goods for use as natural color additives."
Max Miller has been serving Ohio's 7th District since replacing Bob Gibbs in 2023. Born in Shaker Heights in 1988 and currently residing in Rocky River at age 34, he graduated with a BA from Cleveland State University in 2013.
