On December 9, 2024, Congressman Miller offered assistance to those traveling to Washington D.C. during the holiday season. He stated: "Are you traveling to DC during the holidays and need help scheduling a tour? Reach out to my office and we will be happy to assist you."
The following day, on December 10, 2024, he expressed concern over potential tax increases for small businesses if certain tax cuts expire. He tweeted: "If the Trump tax cuts expire, 26 million small businesses will be hit with a 43.4% tax rate. Congress cannot let that happen."
Later on December 10, he announced his support for the Water Resources Development Act which aims to fund local water and infrastructure projects within his district. His tweet read: "I just voted for the Water Resources Development Act to bring over $20 million back to our district for local water and infrastructure projects. I’m proud to say that it passed with overwhelming support."
